The Ancienne Ambiance Shop London Window Display 2019:
As the curtains close on 2019 – our 15th anniversary year, 5th for our Chelsea flagship – and we approach a New Year, it’s time once more to roundup our seasonal window displays. Let us refresh your memory of the months gone by, gearing up for an exciting 2020 on the Ancienne Ambiance horizon…
New Year Carpe Diem – Winter 2019
To mark the new year we embraced a Seize the Day theme tapping into self-care. With a glittering gold shower of confetti, this simple yet stylish glitz signalled the promise of 2019. Opulent purple graffiti columns perfectly set the scene and canvas totes depicting Carpe Diem lettering were poised above.
Aware January can be a dreary time after Christmas excitement, we encouraged clients to indulge themselves and dotted about deluxe Bath Oils and Candles too.
Pink Goddess – London Window Display SS19
For SS19, our Pink Goddess window celebrated the 10th anniversary of multi-tasking beauty hero, Goddess Oil. This encompassed femininity, alongside a splash of Magritte/Dali-inspired surrealism. In order to reflect upcoming occasions and significant diary dates, the theme was slightly tweaked each month.
February brought a Love Goddess window, complete with on-trend neon pink roses. We invited clients to embrace Valentine’s (and the equally important Galentine’s Day), showcasing our Limited Edition Pink Goddess Oil and Goddess Makeup bag with pink ombre-effect.
Synonymous with Mother’s Day, March heralded a Mother Goddess look, using both pink roses and yellow daffodils as special mama detailing. Mother’s Day Gifts, a nod to Fragrance Week and Fragrance Day all allowed for a peek at our Ancient Perfume Bottles in-store showcase too.
Stepping into slightly warmer days, Spring Goddess followed, using a pop of yellow to summarise those sunnier moments ahead. Plus, perfume spritzes began the balmy Summer evening countdown.
Ambiance In Bloom London Window Display – Summer 2019
In celebration of The RHS Chelsea Flower Show, the world’s most famous flower show and Chelsea in Bloom, we once again teamed up with Carly Rogers Flowers to create our own floral installation. Weaving in Cote d’Azur turquoise accents, as an ode to Ancient Egyptian faience, we looked to Summer Goddess essentials. This included our new Reed Diffusers for May and June, alongside the latest in-store Jewellery pieces, then onto Summer holiday staples for July and August.
With a large focus on re-using and recycling materials, Carly’s team created a floral installation with roses and peonies from the 2018 display. Also adding in banana tree leaves and other turquoise and teal foliage, the overall effect was one of bright, tropical opulence.
Autumn Leaves – AW19 London Window Display
You can’t think of Autumn without conjuring up images of beautifully coloured and gloriously crisp leaves. Placed alongside an homage to Ancient Roman mosaics, this window detailed Autumnal leaves, as well as the rope motifs used in our new candle labelling. Neatly nestled were stylishly propped purple graffiti columns. Combined with a spray of leaves placed all over the window and shopfront, these were neon orange, providing a pop of colour to brighten up any grey days.
The inclusion of new season Bath Salts and Scented Candles emphasised a focus on giving yourself an Autumn immune boost and rebalance. Meanwhile, brand-new Jewellery offered chic ideas to add onto your seasonal style wishlist.
Berry-liciously Festive – Christmas London Window Displays 2019
Carly Rogers and her team have returned to tie up our year in typically statement and seasonally festive style. Making a beautiful installation with fresh pine and lots of jewel-toned berries, red and gold baubles join twinkly lights for a Christmas extravaganza.
Inspired by our much-loved Bacca Berry Candle, the berries adorn our window while the red shades match Festive Deluxe Gift Boxes plus luxurious red and gold tissue wrapping. Offering a glorious combination with the purple, we have a ‘gift bag tree of treats’ built of our gift bags, plus cut-out windows so you can peek inside. Never far away from our ancient roots, it doubles up as a pyramid too.
Often told by clients that our gift bags (recyclable and reusable) are placed under the Christmas tree, we love that their distinctive and luxurious look removes a need for normal wrapping. It’s also worth noting that should you be snapping up more than one present – whether it’s for Christmas, a birthday or ‘just because’, we wrap individually, offering each recipient their own extra-special Ancienne Ambiance touch…
