Derived from the Latin word, lavera, meaning to wash, lavender was first recorded by the ancient Egyptians who used it to produce soothing ointments and perfumes.

A multi-purpose Savon de Marseille bar, Lavendula Soap is made with the finest French lavender from Provence (or Provinica Romana, the ancient Roman name for the region). Individually wrapped in signature purple packaging, it is ideal for everyday use (even on the face, as it won’t strip the skin) or as guest soaps for any home.

DIRECTIONS: use on the face, hands and body.

Free from parabens, each soap is enriched with Shea Butter. Full of vitamins that luxuriously nourish and moisturise, Ancienne Ambiance Soaps cleanse without drying out or stripping the skin.

Made the old fashioned way, following traditional techniques from Marseille in France, all soaps are created from a 100% natural vegetable oil base using coconut oil, which contains natural glycerine.

Ancienne Ambiance Soaps do not contain any animal fat, are not tested on animals and are free from harmful chemicals.
