The Ancienne Ambiance Shop Window 2018:
December is a lovely time for us to take a moment and look back over the various window displays we’ve shared with you over the year. Here at Ancienne Ambiance, we love to adorn our boutique shop window with decorations fitting different topical themes and celebrating new launches.
Starting stylish proceedings, January saw us spread gold confetti to ring in the New Year. Focusing on cold weather warmth via our Winter candles, we were intent on sprinkling sparkle as 2018 began. Knowing January can be a little dull after Christmas, our window showcased the excitement of a new year instead.
Moving onto the most romantic month of the year, February brought a Valentine’s themed décor. Displaying iconic Love Hearts candy, this included our Limited Edition Heart Soap Sets, Heart Candles and also invited clients in to explore our vast array of gorgeous gifts ‘for her’. Spreading romance and a little indulgence, it was time to treat special loved ones.
As the grey days disappeared and a glimpse of the next season shone, March marked Mother’s Day. A soft pink Wisteria display offered an indulgent feminine touch, in keeping with our Goddess collections and embracing mums everywhere.
Spring finally here, Daffodils and Easter Chicks signified the seasonal change of April. With our new Soaps launching a clever spring clean focus, it was time for a fresh chapter. Shedding cold winter and celebrating the joy of Easter, our window evoked bright happiness and rebirth.
With beautiful flowers blossoming, the months of May and June align with Chelsea in Bloom. To celebrate this special event, the ever-talented Carly Rogers Flowers created a stunning Upside Down-Inside Out Summer Garden for us. It was truly breath-taking. Plus, we launched brand new Colonia fragrances, as well as La Soufflerie glassware in-store.
Summer reigning supreme during July and August, this meant we displayed a floral décor with Summer beauty heroes, before closing for our refurbishment at the end of August. Summer skincare was huge, with our Goddess Oil and Signature Lotion both big holiday favourites.
As the Summer came to an end into September and October, we used bold purple Graffiti Roman Ruins made for us by street artist Olivierr and cascading Autumn leaves, to highlight our exciting accessories launch. Now selling beautiful pieces by jewellery designers Claire van Holthe and Maximos Zachariadis, we are so proud to host their incredible talents in-store. Plus, gem coloured Limited Edition Candles began the highly anticipated countdown to Christmas.
By mid-November through to December, we welcomed our favourite Carly Rogers Flowers back with open arms for the Festive Fantasia window. Carly’s team used their magic touch, creating a golden arch to highlight our window Christmas tree made up of our statement purple giftbags, cut out to reveal stunning gift items inside. Our Ancienne Ambiance tree is a seasonal nod to ancient pyramids and the iconic logo. Displayed within each bag is a combination of scented gifts and jewellery, each heightening the Christmas excitement.
With 2019 around the corner – marking our 15th Anniversary and 5th Anniversary of our boutique, we can’t wait to show you what next year will bring…
