KIDS - working towards a vision in which all
disabled children and young people realise their aspirations and their right to
an inclusive community which supports them and their families.
KIDS provides a wide range of support
services to disabled children, young people and their families throughout
England. They work with any disabled child or young person (from 0-25),
irrespective of their impairment or condition, helping them to grow, develop
and enjoy their childhood, whilst supporting their families to enable this to
happen.
KIDS was established in 1970 by John Mulcahy, a teacher who had a clear vision that in order to support disabled children, you must also support their families. This is core to KIDS ethos and they aim to ensure that parents and siblings receive the support they need to cope with the pressures that often arise from having a disabled child.

Parents & Abducted Children Together (PACT) in its fight against international parental child abduction, together with locating and retrieving missing children.
PACT is an international, non-profit organisation, registered in the USA and the UK. It was founded in 2000 by Lady Meyer, wife of the then British Ambassador to the United States. Its patrons are Cherie Blair, wife of the former British Prime Minister, and Laura Bush, First Lady of the United States.
In the UK, PACT works closely with the police, the government, and other non-profit organisations. Much of PACT’s work is based on techniques successfully deployed in the US to help bring missing children safely home.
PACT’s vision is truly international and operates on a broad front. It is influential in advocacy, policy-making and research. All this work is targeted on one goal: to find answers to the tragedy of the thousands of children who go missing or are abducted every year.
PACT is an associate of ICMEC, the International branch of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), based in the USA.
